INTRODUCTION
Before I start, I'd like to clarify a few things:
This is an intermediate digital painting tutorial (done in Photoshop),
which means you will need at least some basic knowledge of how to paint.
I will show and explain in steps the main painting process, and go into
detail about some of the things you need to pay attention to when painting
a portrait. What I will not go into is what brushes or brush sizes to
use, or show you how exactly to paint eyes, a nose, lips, or anything
else of that nature - if you do not know how to, then this tutorial may
not be the right one for you.
If you are already accustomed to most aspects of portrait painting, you
may find several stages of this tutorial a little tedious, since they
really just show "what to do next" for those who need and want
it. However, you still may find one or the other useful thing in here.
All images in this tutorial are clickable for a closer look.
Enjoy! =]
